Workday Nutrition: Your Ultimate Cheat Sheet

Does your workday run on coffee, candy, and crispy treats? Between endless emails, meetings and tasks it can be hard to find time to focus on nutrition throughout your busy day. A crucial component of performing at your peak is finding the right balance of nutrient-rich foods to fuel your mind and body. If you find yourself downing cup after cup of coffee or giving in to those strong sugar cravings during your workday, maybe it's time for a nutrition shift.

Read on for some healthy tricks and tips to fuel your most productive workday.

Eat Breakfast

Avoiding a mid-morning crash starts with eating a filling breakfast that will keep you energized throughout your busy morning. Skipping nutrition first thing sets you up for a hungry and distracted day full of low energy, sugar cravings and overeating.

Some great options for a filling breakfast are a hearty bowl of oatmeal topped with fresh (or frozen) fruit, scrambled egg whites with spinach and turkey sausage, or a quick smoothie made with your favorite protein powder. If you'd like, you can even keep some overnight oats in our cabinet and make some to leave in our fridge for your breakfast the next day!
